Daniel Restrepo speaking Monday at the White House

Monday’s Press Briefing was conducted bilingually. Our best recollection is that this is a first. In announcing changes in U.S. policy concerning family travel and remittences to Cuba, Robert Gibbs was joined at the podium by Daniel Restrepo, Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director of Western Hemisphere Affairs at the National Security Council, who spoke to reporters in Spanish.
